TAKING NEW CLIENTS IN JULY 2025

I am a marriage and family therapist (M. 2100163) specialized to provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families with an emphasis on understanding how healing always involves addressing systemic concerns. Areas of specialized training include Gottman Method of Relationship Therapy (Level 3 Practicum Trained in Gottman Method Couple Therapy), ACT Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I work across the age range (school-age children through adulthood). In addition to my work as a therapist, I am also a registered nurse (BSN) and I have nearly eighteen years of experience in the business sector in sales.

I believe that each individual has the right to feel and see their truth as theirs. The goal in therapy is to find that which is true for their system and work to help them obtain that truth. The goals are not to bend the clients to a “norm”, but help them find what is a norm for them and their system.

Therapy will involve getting to know what things have brought each member to therapy and what things they would like to see change. We will also explore what things have worked in the past to relieve the current stressors. Analyzing what life would look like if the stressors are gone and how we may achieve that goal.

Commons concerns I address within the course of therapy include recovery from infidelity in relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and other couple/relationship problems. I also have real life experience with those on the spectrum and dealing with ADHD.

I am a member of AAMFT and also a member of Delta Kappa International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society - Iota Chapter. I have been married going on 35 years with three children (two adults and one teenager), and while away from the office I enjoy running with my wife, attending baseball games, listening to and collecting music. Also, while I do not have it on in this picture, I wear a rotating fitted baseball hat every single day!
