Rachel Hickin, Ph.D., is a recent graduate of Bowling Green State University's doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. Rachel provides individual therapy for preteens, adolescents, and young adults regarding concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Rachel's theoretical orientation is built upon the foundation of cognitive-behavioral theory and infused with the biopsychosocial model of development, providing a simultaneously structured and yet flexible therapy experience based on the needs of each individual client.
Rachel also provides psychological evaluation services for individuals of all ages to address questions about academic achievement, developmental functioning, possible ADHD, possible autism, socioemotional problems, and other psychiatric diagnoses.In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watercolor painting, reading, hiking, and quoting The Office.
Rachel is a postdoctoral clinician preparing for licensure as a clinical psychologist. Her work is supervised by Leslie McClure, Psy.D.
