Nicole M. Melchi

Nicole Melchi is a professional clinical counselor, marriage and family therapist, and substance abuse professional who has experience working with adolescents and adults in individual, group, couples/marital, and family therapies.

Nicole is experienced in diagnosing and treating mood, anxiety, substance abuse, personality, and co-morbid/dual diagnosed disorders, as well as marital/family, life transition, and anger management groups in both outpatient and residential settings. She has also facilitated family education programming on chemical dependency, family systems, enabling and codependency, and relapse and recovery. Nicole also conducts substance abuse assessments for the Department of Transportation as well as Employee Assistance Programs.

Nicole treats an individual from a multitude of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Because of Nicole’s specialized training in marital and family therapy, she believes working from a systemic approach is effective in helping individuals understand their issues/disorders and achieve their goals.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and scrapbooking.
